Christ [Anointed One] has redeemed [paid to recover] us from the curse of the law [customs, commands], having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree [wood]”), {14} that the blessing of Abraham [founder of the Hebrew nation] might come upon the Gentiles [non-Hebrews] in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith [belief].
New King James Version
_________________________________________

God kept His promise to Abraham — He has not revoked it.  He saved Abraham through his faith, and He blessed the world through Abraham by sending the Messiah as one of Abraham’s descendants.  Circumstances may change, but God remains constant and does not break His promises.  God has promised to forgive our sins through Jesus Christ, and we can be sure that He will do so.  Praise God!
